Backup & Recovery Guide

What is backed up: The complete SQLite database (sessions, employees, users, devices, audit records, licenses, releases) and all generated report files.

Download Backup: Creates a .zip file containing a snapshot of the database and reports. Download it to your local machine for safekeeping. Available to Admin, VP, and GM.

Restore from Backup: Upload a previously downloaded backup .zip to restore the database and reports. This replaces all current data. A safety backup of current data is automatically created before restore. Admin only.

Scheduled Backups: Admin can configure automatic daily, weekly, or monthly database snapshots stored on the server. The last 5 scheduled backups are retained.

Outage Announcement: Before performing maintenance, use the outage notification to email all users about the planned downtime.
